When will I receive my Office?

We aim to have your unit delivered to you with 4 to 6 weeks from placing your order.

Do you require Planning Permission?

Planning Permission is not required if your home garden office or pod is not located forward of the principal elevation fronting a highway.
The building is single storey with maximum overall height of four metres with a dual pitched roof or three metres for any other roof, the maximum height is 2.5 metre and the building is within two metres of the boundary. You will need to inform us if you live in a conservation area.

Will I need to treat and maintain the external cladding?

Red Cedar or Thermo wood are very low maintenance products and have an expected life span of up to 50-years, ageing to an attractive natural silvery-grey patina over the years.

What foundations are required for the Garden Office or Pod/Lodge?

This depends on the structure of your building. If it is a lodge you may need stronger footing pads, while offices and pods sit on individual concrete pads that can be adjusted for levelling purposes.

What is the internal finish?

The floor has a number of options available, the walls will be finished in a pre-white emulsion and the internal electrics will be flush wall mounted electric sockets with low energy lighting.

What heating will be available in the units?

There are a number of options available including standard electric heaters, but for an upgrade we recommend an air conditioning unit, which also has heating and a built in humidifier with air filters.

Is my unit built to last?

All our units are built to last and the unique system that we use provides a structural rigidity that is second to none.
The manufacturing method of our Insulated units coupled with our special cladding means that there in no twisting or splitting of the timbers, giving you a long lasting virtually maintenance free product.

How secure is my unit?

Your unit will be fitted with the very latest Insurance locks on all doors and windows, in addition we can fit an Intruder Alarm.

Is my unit double glazed?

Yes all units are double-glazed and can also be triple glazed if needed with built in heating in the glass. They give the highest rating as well as a high performance of insulation and sound proofing.

What Insulation is used in the units?

All our units are insulated using the latest techniques and each unit is injected with 70mm foam. This gives your unit a structural soundproofed insulated office or pod/lodge.

What windows and doors will be available?

All units come with the very latest aluminium powder coated doors and windows. Our standard office will have a large window with a single door, however we can offer you virtually any configuration you wish at an additional cost.

What’s not included in the price?

Most units come with everything included in the specification list, what’s not included will be any added electrics that we may have to upgrade from the main supply to the unit, in addition to any extra heating, specialised lighting or sockets, should a toilet be required or sink this will be an additional extra plus connecting to the mains.
